UNION ACADEMY'S BECKETT GURIAN

The 2022 UCHSBaseball.com’s Newcomer of the Year is Union Academy’s Beckett Gurian. In his 1st year on varsity for the Cardinals the freshman Burian hit .405 with 30 hits including 5 doubles, 3 triples, scored 26 runs while driving in 24 RBI. Beckett was named All-UCHSBaseball.com 1st Team as well as being named to the All-Yadkin Valley team. Gurian helped Union Academy to a 19-9 record, and advanced to the Fianl 4 of the 1A state playoffs. CONGRATULATIONS BECKETT!!

PARKWOOD'S ROCKY RICHAR

The 2022 UCHSBaseball.com’s Coach of the Year is Parkwood’s Rocky Richar. Coach Richar led the Wolf Pack to a 20-7 record, a Rocky River Conference title, Rocky River Conference tournament title and advanced to the 2nd round of the state playoffs. Coach Richar was also named Rocky River Coach of the Year. CONGRATULATIONS COACH RICHAR!!!
