CUTHBERTSON'S TOHMAS PAXTON

The 2023 UCHSBaesball.com's MVP is Cuthbertson’s Thomas Paxton. In his senior season Paxton hit .341 on the season with 28 hits and scored 24 runs. Thomas drove in 26 RBI with 7 doubles and tied for the Union Co. lead with 8 homeruns for the Cavs. Paxton was named to the 2023 ALL-UCHSBaseball.com’s 1st team as well as being named ALL-SCC & the SCC Player of the year while helping the Cavs to a 17-11 record and into the "Sweet-16" of the state playoffs. When asked Paxton pitched for the Cavs as well, going 1-4 with a 3.66 ERA and 40 K’s along with 1 save this season. Paxton joins John Mangum ('11) as the only Cuthbertson players to win the UCHSBaseball.com's MVP award. Thomas is headed to Belmont Abbey to continue his academic and baseball career.
